Uttam lobs luxury barb at KCR’s family
Telangana Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday criticised that the state, which was achieved with the blessings of AICC former president Sonia Gandhi, was facing repression of a family and no section of the society made progress in the past four years.
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday criticised that the state, which was achieved with the blessings of AICC former president Sonia Gandhi, was facing repression of a family and no section of the society made progress in the past four years.
Addressing the fourth State Formation Day celebrations, he said that the Chief Minister’s family has been enjoying the luxuries in Telangana which was formed on the base of sacrifices. He released a brochure titled ‘Dagapadda Telangana’ (Telangana Deceived) on this occasion.
The programme was attended by Leader of Congress Legislature Party K Jana Reddy, PCC former president Ponnala Laxmiah, vice president Mallu Ravi, general secretaries Dasoju Sravan, Vinod Reddy, B Karthika Reddy and treasure Gudur Narayana Reddy.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Sonia Gandhi ensured statehood to Telangana being moved by the sacrifices made by various sections. Her name would remain in history of TS forever. He alleged that the TRS assumed power with false promises. The families of martyrs, students, farmers, unemployed, SCs, STs, women and other sections of the society have been insulted in Telangana state after K Chandrashekhar Rao entered into the office of the Chief Minister.
