The fifth Batch of police constables successfully completed the 10-day Defensive Police Tactical Training here on Thursday. So far, 150 constables in the district received the training.  The successful candidates have reported to the District Superintendent of Police T Annapurna.  

Vikarabad: The fifth Batch of police constables successfully completed the 10-day Defensive Police Tactical Training here on Thursday. So far, 150 constables in the district received the training. The successful candidates have reported to the District Superintendent of Police T Annapurna.

The SP congratulated t he constables emerged as the best during the training programme. She asked the trainees to sensitise their colleagues on the importance of undergoing such training. He asked them to defend themselves and also the people and bring good name to the department. She asked them to work with dedication.

The training course was conducted to increase the competency of the cops in dealing with anti-social elements. The SP presented prizes to those who emerged as the best during the training programme. Constables Ganesh of Kodangal police station and Jayamma of Kulakacharla police station won the first prizes, while the second prize went to Jangaiah of Chengomul police station and Anuradha of Vikarabad police station.

The third prize was given to Sobhanbabu of Vikarabad police station and Sravanti of police headquarters. Sub-inspector Naresh and six armed constables conducted the training classes. District Additional SP P Narasimhulu, RI Kranti Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
