Elderly Couple found murdered in Warangal

An elderly couple was found murdered at their residence in Hasanparthy village on the outskirts of Warangal on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Pedda Damodhar and his wife Padma. According to the reports, the assailants are suspected to have entered their house after midnight and killed them by slitting their throat. The police were alerted about the incident in the morning by the neighbours.

The couple is survived by three children, two daughters who are married and one son, who is working as a software engineer in Hyderabad.

Police have registered a case and the investigation is underway.
