The temple committee chairman P Y Kailash Vir submitted a letter to the Transport Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Friday. He asked for the support of State government which has been there for several years. He demanded the State government to carry out the road development works in the four km radius of the temple before Bonala Jatara begins. Kailash demanded that GHMC be instructed to carry out the manhole, pothole repair near temple as early as possible.

He said that if works are delayed it would be very difficult for the devotees and for the people who participate in the Bonala Jatara. He further requested the government to take up the works of electricity, drainage, drinking water supply and others before the Jatara kickstarts.

He appealed to form a joint committee of officials from various departments like GHMC, electricity board, water board, police and traffic police. He further appealed that traffic management plan can be prepared well in advance to avoid any inconvenience to the people and devotees during the Jatara. Bonala celebrations would be held for 11 days during July 27 to August 6. Thousands of people from across the city and state are expected to participate in the celebrations.
