KCR to lay stone for rubat in Ajmer on June 26

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to lay foundation stone for Hyderabadi Rubat (guest house) in Ajmer on June 26. On the request of Telangana, Rajasthan government has allocated one acre of land for the construction of the guest house for Telangana pilgrims visiting the India’s popular dargah in the pilgrim town.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to lay foundation stone for Hyderabadi Rubat (guest house) in Ajmer on June 26. On the request of Telangana, Rajasthan government has allocated one acre of land for the construction of the guest house for Telangana pilgrims visiting the India’s popular dargah in the pilgrim town.

Sources said that KCR will fly off to Ajmer on June 26 and return on the same day after laying foundation stone. A group of devout Muslims led by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will also attend the programme. The government decided to send 1,000 pilgrims from Telangana to visit Ajmer to witness the programme.

Officials said that the government already sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the construction of the rubat and constituted an official team to complete the works at the earliest.
