150 families suffer as bore wells go dry

Kapra: Residents of various colonies facing drinking water scarcity as the bore wells along with water tanks dried up due to lack of maintenance. Motors go out of service and damaged taps leads to water woes in Kapra Circle.

Bore wells at Kushiaguda, which caters to the water needs of 100 to 150 families, has been not working for the past six months. The colony residents lament officials were least bothered to address the issue, though so many complaints were filed. They demanded the officials to repair the bore wells at the earliest. When contacted, officials said that they will rectify the problem in a couple of days.
