Kukatpally: Following water-logging of roads and low-lying areas in Lingampally, Miyapur, Gachibowli and Madhapur because of continuous rain since Wednesday night, there were heavy traffic jams on roads in the areas. There was crowding of vehicles in Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur and Hafizpet areas.
As a result, students going to schools and employees faced hardship on Thursday. There was heavy traffic blockade from Lingampally under-bridge to Gulmohar Park and on Nallagandla flyover, with vehicles stalled for about two km. Later they moved at a slow pace.
