Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has summoned his cabinet colleagues and a few senior-most leaders to attend an emergency meeting convened at Pragati Bhavan on Wednesday evening. Sources said that KCR will discuss his plan of action to go for early elections and seek the leader’s suggestions.
The proposed mammoth public meeting in Hyderabad before dissolving his government will also figure in the meeting. A leader, who is in the know of the emergency meeting, said that KCR is likely to take some key political decisions in the meeting.
The TRS supremo will also hold another meeting with his party MPs, MLAs and MLCs in August last week to ascertain the political situation in the state and the winning prospects of TRS in case early elections are held. KCR already announced that he will declare party candidates in the Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies in September indicting his readiness to go for assembly elections.
