Car hits toddy sellers; one dies

Choutuppal ( Yadadri- Bhongir): One person died and another injured when a speeding car ram into a makeshift toddy shop near Reddy Bavi bus stop of Choutuppal mandal in the district on Wednesday.

According Choutuppal CI Venkataiah, the couple Yadamma and Balaiah as usual was selling toddy on the roadside near Reddy Bavi bus stop on Wednesday when a speeding Maruti car bearing number AP 10 AT 3163 heading towards Hyderabad from Vijayawada lost its control and hit the couple. 

In this incident wife Yadamma died on the spot, and husband Balaiah got severe injuries and was shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
Choutuppal police filed a case and took up investigation.
