Regunta Gattaiah, a staunch follower of Nallala Odelu who set himself on fire at Balka Suman's rally in Indaram last week has succumbed to serious burn injuries today.
It may be recalled that Gattaiah immolated self demanding party ticket for his leader Nallala Odelu in the presence of Peddapalli MP Suman who came to Indaram village of Jaipur mandal to start an election campaign. Gattaiah along with few others admitted to hospital due to grievous burn injuries and he was declared dead today noon.
Nallala Odelu is one among the TRS leader whom the party has denied the ticket. The TRS supremo offered his ticket to Peddapalli MP Balka Suman.
However, Odelu who settled all the issues with KCR said that he will work for the welfare of the party whereas his follower Gattaiah, who burnt himself has become a scapegoat.
