Hyderabad: Vikalangula Rajakiya Ikya Vedika released a list of 47 differently-abled candidates who will be contesting in forthcoming elections in Telangana. The organization in a press note said that proper representation had not been given to differently-abled people in the last seven decades since India got independence.
It said that handicapped persons were being used by political parties as mere vote banks. The organization appealed to all the political parties to provide them proper representation in the forthcoming elections. It also requested print and electronic media to extend necessary support.
