Arogyasri is superior to Ayushman Bharat, KTR ripostes Amit Shah tweet

IT and MAUD minister KT Rama Rao gave a stinging riposte to Amit Shah who said the TRS government has denied implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state for their self-interests.

Refuting his tweet, KTR said that the Arogyasri scheme which is being implemented in the state for the poor people is better than the PM Modi proposed Ayushman Bharat scheme in terms of people reach out. " You’re clearly misinformed @AmitShah Ji. The successful Arogya Sri program of Telangana is far superior in terms of coverage (80 lakh families) in comparison to Ayushman Bharat (only 25 lakh families in Telangana)," KTR tweeted.

Amit Shah directed his guns at the TRS government on Monday with his tweet in Telugu saying that Ayushman Bharat scheme which is aimed to provide medical services to the poor people has been denied by the Telangana government due to their self-interests. He also asked the government to answer so as to why they have refused to implement the scheme in the state."
