Media centre opens at RDO office
Preparations for the smooth conduct of elections are going on and soon all the polling stations in the district will be equipped with facilities, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini while inaugurating the media centre at RDO office premises on Thursday
Kothagudem: Preparations for the smooth conduct of elections are going on and soon all the polling stations in the district will be equipped with facilities, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini while inaugurating the media centre at RDO office premises on Thursday.
He said the media centre will be extremely helpful for the media people for collecting and sending all election information from hear. He appealed to the media persons to give more publicity to casting of vote and EVM and VVPAT machines in the district.
He further said, the voters’ lists will be announced on 12th of this month and added that on October 20 all the facilities will be arranged at the polling stations and strong rooms are being arranged in all five consistencies in the district.
The sectoral officers will be announced shortly and a training programme for the election officials will be conducted on November 10, he said. Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu, Assistant Collector Tripathi, SC Welfare Officer Salam Bhanu, and DPRO Srinivas Rao attended the meeting.
