Global NSS affiliates Hyderabad chapter

Hyderabad: Global Nair Seva Samaj (GNSS), an umbrella organisation of the Nair community working globally and all over India announced the affiliation of Hyderabad NSS as its unit from Telangana. In a meeting organised at Secunderabad Paradise Lions Club Bhavan, Director and Kerala unit chairman of GNSS, Mancheri Bhaskaran Pillai, announced the affiliation of Nair service society, Hyderabad. He lighted the lamp in front of Acharyan Mannathu Padmanabhan, founder of the NSS.

President of Hyderabad NSS, C G Chandra Mohan, presided over the meeting. Mancheri Bhaskaran Pillai, a well-known social worker and educationist, explained about Indian civilisation and traditions of the dominant Nair community of Kerala. Vice presidents of GNSS, Krishna Kurup (Mumbai), Ramachandran Paleri (Bengaluru), organising secretary Udayabhanu (Chennai), Director Board members Soma Sekharan Nair (Nagpur), Harikumara Menon (Mumbai) and A R G Unnithan (Vishakhapatnam) spoke about the aims, objectives and the activities of GNSS so far.

Treasurer of Hyderabad NSS U K Nair organised the meeting. Organising secretary P Krishna Kumar compered the programme. Vice president G Ramesh Kumar welcomed the members. Joint secretary K Soman Nair proposed the vote of thanks.
