Vijayawada: City Police Commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao showered appreciation on the police officers and the constables for their impeccable services during the Dasara Navaratri celebrations atop Indrakeeladri at his chambers on Friday.
He praised the officers and constables for their hard work in controlling many devotees during the celebration from October 10-18 to avoid untoward incidents. He recalled that they had done a good job during Mula Nakshatram Day, Vijayadasami Day and Teppotsavam Day as lakhs of devotees thronged the temple for darshan of goddess considering it as auspicious.
