RTC bus runs over woman

Bhongir/Suryapet: A woman died on the spot in a road accident took place at Surendrapuri near Yadagirigutta on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Sangitha (60) According to the sources, a speedy RTC bus of Picket depot hit the Sangitha at Surendrapuri while she was on her way to work. Her death was instant. Sangitha had been working as a cook at “Arya Vishya Nithya Anna Dhana Satram” for the last ten months.

In another incident, as many as ten passengers were injured when an auto in which they are travelling overturned while trying to escape the bike coming from the opposite direction. The incident took place at Elkaram in Suryapet mandal. The injured were shifted to the Government Area Hospital in Suryapet. Of the ten injured, health condition of two is said to be serious.
