IRCTC website to remain shut for two hours on Nov 10

Railway ticket booking site IRCTC to remain shut for two hours due to the maintenance of the site, said the Indian Railways releasing a statement on Tuesday. 

The services provided through IRCTC website and app like reservation of seats, internet booking, train ticket status and inquiry services will be unavailable for the two hours from 11.45 pm on November 9 to 1.40 am on November 10.

It is to be notified that the IRCTC site will be down from 11.30 pm to 12:30 am every day due to the maintenance activities.

The reason for the inconvenience is learned to have upgradation of the site which let the passengers know the status of the ticket without even logging into the site and also let them know the probability of confirmation of wait-listed tickets.
