Four candidates filed their papers for Assembly elections on the first day of filing of nominations in the erstwhile Warangal district on Monday
Warangal: Four candidates filed their papers for Assembly elections on the first day of filing of nominations in the erstwhile Warangal district on Monday.
Among those, who filed papers are Pesaru Vijayachander Reddy, BJP candidate from Parkal Assembly constituency, Shaga Raju of Telugu Desam from Station Ghanpur, and Rajanala Srihari from Warangal East and Veeramalla Rajesh Reddy from Narsampet as independents.
Meanwhile, it’s learnt that majority of the candidates to file on November 14, said to be auspicious. On the other hand, the Congress aspirants are still waiting for their leadership to announce the candidates. The delay is reportedly due to impasse in seat sharing and candidates’ selection. The nomination process would end on November 19.
