Hyderabad: The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) introduced an AC luxury mini bus here on Monday. The bus was flagged off for the use of public by TSTDC Managing Director B Manohar. The TSTDC has ordered for four more luxury buses.
TSTDC is targeting the families, students, businessmen for small package tours. The Tourists who were booking in small numbers for package tours, now do not have to face cancellation of the service due to non-full occupancy and can comfortably travel without fear of cancellation, said Manohar. The vehicles on hire can be very useful for long distance destinations like Shirdi, Tirupathi, Srisailam etc.
An accommodation block with 14 rooms out of which 7 rooms are non-AC at Alisagar, near Nizamabad was inaugurated for the use of public by MD on Monday. In the first phase, a restaurant conquest hall has been provided at a cost of about Rs 2 crore. The total project cost is of Rs 5 crore and the Alisagar is going to be made into a mini Ooty for Telangana.
