Upset over denial of ticket her husband, Yadavalli Krishna wife attempted suicide by dousing herself with kerosene.  However, her attempt was foiled by the Congress leaders who arrived at their house to pacify them.

Meanwhile, Yadavalli Krishna resigned to the Congress party and said that will soon join Bahujan Left Front (BLF) to contest from Kothagudem assembly constituency in the upcoming polls. Krishna who aspired Kothagudem ticket was depressed as the Congress party has allocated the ticket to Vanama Venkateshwara Rao.
