Hyderabad: Former Minister G Vinod gave a shock to TRS on Friday by stating that he would be filing nomination papers as independent candidate from Bellampally Assembly constituency.The TRS has nominated sitting MLA Durgam Chennaiah as candidate from Bellampally. Government advisor G Vivek’s brother Vinod has been demanding Chennur ticket but the party leadership has told him that Chennur was given to Suman to accommodate his brother in Peddapally Lok Sabha.

Vinod said that he expected the party would give ticket to him from Chennur. “I could not get any assurance either from caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao or from K T Rama Rao hence decided to file nomination papers as independent after deciding to contest from Bellampally after discussing with party workers,” said Vinod.
