On Wednesday, the entire team of the film ‘Team-5’ launched the movie trailer and audio in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Sreesanth said that the movie is about racing, friendship, love and relationship between brother and sister. He also said that the film has an underlying message for the society.

The multi-lingual film will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages. “I am glad that my debut film is getting released in so many languages and expanding my market across India. It will be a big boost to my career,” he said and added “It’s rarity in a newcomer’s career,” he adds. Apart from his cricketing and acting skills the cricketer-turned-actor choreographed a song ifn the film.

“I love dancing and when I got an opportunity, I choreographed one song in this movie but it appears only in title credits,”said Sreesanth and adds “This movie will showcase my romantic angle,”

He also said that the shooting of the movie got delayed due to him. “The shooting of this film got delayed for sometime due to my political commitments. But the film staff supported me to complete the film,”It may be recalled that Sreeshanth contested Kerala Assembly elections in 2016 from Thiruvananthapuram constituency on BJP ticket but couldn’t succeed.

”I have great regard for PM Modi and party chief Amit Shah since they are determined to change India in more ways than one besides delivering a corruption-free government which is the need of the hour,” he adds.

Recalling his memories with the Hyderabad city, Sreesanth shares “I remember after the Team India early exit in the ICC Cricket’s World Cup-2007 in group stages, Hyderabad people showed respect to Indian players despite early exit in such a big tournament,” he adds.

He likes Hyderabad biryani and has a few friends in the City of Nawabs. “It is true that I have a few friends and I keep in touch with them. I binge on Hyderabad biryani, whenever I am in town,’ he concludes.

However, former cricketer is not nervous about his new career since his film is set to release this week. “ I am not nervous but anxious to know how audience will receive me as an actor. As I have chosen a youth-centric script, my confidence is doubled,’ he points out.
