After essaying the role of a jockey in ‘Winner’ and a fiery cop in ‘Nakshatram’, new age actor Sai Dharam Tej will reportedly be seen as an IT professional in his next untitled film with director V V Vinayak. Apparently, the mega hero will be donning an urban and sophisticated look in his next.

“Sai Dharam Tej will be playing an employee in an IT company and his looks will match the urban role he is portraying in the big budget film,” says a source, close to the unit. He will be also be wooing Lavanya Tripathi as an educated guy, unlike his mass films like ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ to cheer up the mega fans, adds the source. Even for director Vinayak who made mass entertainers like ‘Aadi’, ‘Samba’ and ‘Khaidi No 150’ it is a fresh attempt to make film around software professionals.
“The director insisted on such a new age role for Sai Dharam Tej, rather than the usual good-for-nothing roles to connect with Gen X viewers,” the source pointed out. After essaying heavy-duty roles, Sai will be playing a techie who has to meet deadlines of a different kind.
