Ravi Teja hikes his pay?

Seasoned star Ravi Teja who made a comeback of sorts with his recent hit film ‘Raja The Great’ has reportedly hiked his remuneration to Rs 13 crore. Even though, he agreed to do the remake of Tamil hit ‘Bhogan’ but when he jacked up his pay cheque from Rs 10 crore to Rs 13 crore, producer Ramesh is looking for another hero for his supernatural thriller.

Nevertheless, top producer Bandla Ganesh is willing to pay the ‘Kick’ star the new pay cheque since youth and masses have returned to the fold of Mass Maharaja, a source adds. It is nothing new for T-town stars to revise their remuneration once-in-a-while and that too, after delivering a money-spinner.

Hence industry bigwigs are bound to take Ravi’s new demand with a pinch of salt. “He is one of the few mass heroes in T-town who can pull in crowds on the strength of their name.

He is capable of slipping into an action role or any kind of roles with consummate ease,” the source adds. Despite Ravi Teja’s dented stardom with duds like ‘Bengal Tiger’ and ‘Kick 2’ and took a long break to pick the right script, it hasn’t affected neither his charisma nor his crowd pulling prowess. Hence, a hike is round the corner.
