This movie is to be directed by Shelly. The makers were looking for a South Indian actress with a western appeal. Regina seems to have attended the auditions in which she got selected to act in the movie. The movie is to star Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Anil Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla.
