Update: 2018-09-11 05:30 IST

It seems that seasoned star Balakrishna wants to work with young directors these days. After Krish, the Nandamuri star has reportedly agreed to work with young director Anil Ravipudi, who made films like ‘Pataas’ and ‘Raja The Great’.

“Balakrishna spared some time for Anil Ravipudi and listened to his story and felt that it has potential, nevertheless, he agreed to work with the young director in-principle sooner than later, but nothing is fixed yet” says a source, close to the actor. After the magnum opus NTR biopic, Balakrishna has another film with Boyapati Srinu and Anil Ravipudi which could happen in-between. “Actually, Balakrishna wants to produce films on a regular basis.

After the biopic and Boyapati’s film, the actor could produce a third film as well, even though, other producers are asking for his dates,” the source adds. Meanwhile, the Nandamuri star is doing a lot of homework to reprise the role of his legendary father as realistic as possible and watching his movies and listening to memorable songs to get the feel of it,” the source informs.

After duds like ‘Dictator’ and ‘Paisa Vasool’, Balakrishna has chosen to produce films to revive his winning habit. With the biopic generating a lot of hype and hoopla, the actor’s plan to turn producer seems to be the right.
