Sri Lankan Air flights from Vizag on July 8
The Tours and Travels Association of Andhra has said Sri Lankan Airlines will launch its operations from Vizag city from July 8. The flight will operate four times a week, on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will leave Colombo at 7.10 am and arrive at Vizag at 9.10 am
Visakhapatnam: The Tours and Travels Association of Andhra has said Sri Lankan Airlines will launch its operations from Vizag city from July 8. The flight will operate four times a week, on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will leave Colombo at 7.10 am and arrive at Vizag at 9.10 am. It will depart Vizag at 10.10 am and reach Colombo at 12.15 pm. Association chairman O Naresh Kumar said the airlines had launched special economy fares for ticketing before May 17 and they can be used till November 2017.
The special fares are Bangkok-Rs 14,775, Kuala Lumpur-Rs14,433 and Singapore-Rs 14,584. The airlines also announced 20 per cent off on all their routes from Vizag. Sri Lankan Airlines would give through boarding from Visakhapatnam to Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Male, Seychelles, Dubai, Bahrain, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh and Jeddah.
Special return airfares inclusive of all taxes are around Colombo-Rs13,000, Dubai and Middle East Rs 20,000 to 23,000, London Rs 44, 000, Beijing and Shanghai Rs 28,000 and Tokyo Rs44,000.
