TSRTC Warangal celebrates Drivers Day
The first ever ‘Drivers Day’ is celebrated here on Tuesday under the aegis of TSRTC Warangal region marking the ongoing 28th Road Safety Week.
Hanamkonda: The first ever ‘Drivers Day’ is celebrated here on Tuesday under the aegis of TSRTC Warangal region marking the ongoing 28th Road Safety Week. Programmes like taking out rallies, felicitating drivers with accident free record have taken place on the day.
The RTC officials, about 500 staff have participated in this rally have taken out a rally from Hanamkonda bus station to the bus depot presenting flowers and greetings cards to the drivers en route.
In a similar manner, at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Sciences Warangal (KITSW) the MBA students along with the drivers of the institute took out a rally displaying placards expressing gratitude to the drivers for their services.
The RTC Regional Manager T Surya Kiran, KITSW Director Y Manohar, deans, faculty members took part in the rally from the college campus to Karimnagar Highway marking the occasion.
The commissioner of police G Sudheer Babu has presented flower bouquets to drivers at Darmakancha stadium in Jangaon town marking the Driver's Day.
