Karimnagar: Stringent action will be taken against those, who encroaches government lands, warned District in-charge Collector B Srinivas during Dial Your Collector programme.

The programme was held at the Collectorate Conference hall in Karimnagar on Monday. During the programme, Srinivas of Manakondur mandal informed the in-charge Collector that two persons encroached government land at Edulagottepalli and trying to cultivate.

The in-charge Collector assured him of taking necessary action after enquiring with Tahsildar of the mandal.

Hanumanth Rao of Sripuram Colony of Karimnagar informed the in-charge Collector that foul smell is emitted due to waste deposits in the open place allotted for park in the Colony.

Besides the place has become a breeding centre for mosquitoes, due to accumulation of drainage water here.

The in-charge Collector told Hanumanth Rao that tender works for drainage construction works were completed and the works would commence at the earliest.

Responding to a call made by R Padma of Venkateshwarpalli village of Jammikunta mandal about non-implementation of mid-day meal menu in the government school in her village, the in-charge Collector ordered the District Education Officer to take immediate action after enquiring.

Srinivas from Karimnagar informed the in-charge Collector that he was not tested properly in Sadaram Camp even though he is disabled and did not issue the certificate due to which he was not getting pension.

B Srinivas asked to him to visit DRDA office so that he could be send to Sadaram Camp for testing again.

Responding to Karunakar Reddy of Vedira village of Ramadugu mandal about the construction of compound wall to SC Boys hostel, the in-charge Collector said that proposals have been submitted to the government and as soon as the government releases the funds the compound wall will be constructed.

District Revenue Officer Ayesha Masrath Qanam and other district officials were present in the Dial Your Collector programmes organised in the Collectorate.
