Warangal: About 28 sheep killed and 12 sheep got injured grievously in an attack by a pack of stray dogs in the district during early hours of Thursday.

The incident took place at Dharmasagar village in the district when the livestock kept at cattle shed informed, S Chinna Komuraiah, owner of the livestock. According to him, the worth of dead animals would be around Rs 1.12 lakhs.

Gorrela Mekala Pempakamdarula Sangam (GMPS) state president U Ravi demanded the State government compensation to the affected person from the funds of disaster management.

Telangana Sheep and Goats Development Cooperative Federation (TSGDCF) Chairman K Rajaiah Yadav has visited the village and promised to offer compensation to Komuraiah.
