Satavahana University Students JAC strike enters third day
The representatives of Student Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Satavahana University, who are on strike demanding the government appointment of regular Vice-Chancellor, reached third day here on Wednesday.
Karimnagar: The representatives of Student Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Satavahana University, who are on strike demanding the government appointment of regular Vice-Chancellor, reached third day here on Wednesday.
Since Monday, the University students started boycotting classes and doing strike demanding the government solve various issues like filling of various vacant teaching and non-teaching posts, regularisation of certain self-finance courses.
The students alleged that the government is no mood to solve their problems, who played key role in Telangana movement and sacrificed their lives. They pointed out the government’s apathy towards the students, who have been boycotting classes and doing strikefor the past three days at the University gate.
They demanded the government solve their problems immediately otherwise they would take up the movement to another level to teach the government a fitting lesson.
Students JAC representatives Marvadi Sudarshan, Janardhan, Bhagyaraj, Mahesh,Ganesh, Kranthi, Vinod, Upendar, Nagaraju, Sirisha, Sathish, Mounika, Madhuri, Kumaraswamy, Raveena, Prashanth, Kumar, Vinod, Karunakar and Suresh were present along with others.
