Hanamkonda: The district TRS leaders have come down heavily on TJAC chairman M Kodandaram for calling upon the youth to join February 22 unemployed youth rally, protesting delay in filling up jobs.

The TJAC leader was instigating youth in the State in a bid to gain political mileage and to build political career. It was not appropriate to instigate youth against the State government, said TRS district president T Ravinder Rao.

Speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Thursday, he maintained that the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, was himself an activist, fought for Telangana cause for decades and achieved separate State. ‘There is no need to remind him about the needs of the people as he was aware of their aspirations and needs.’

The CM was making committed efforts in delivering all the election promises. The government has got another three years to complete the term and by that time the promises would be delivered. The government had already started the process of recruitment, he asserted.

The vacancies would be filled up in a phased manner. There were 25 lakh educated unemployed youth in the State while there were only 1.50 lakh government jobs. To address this huge gap, the government has already come out with industrial policy aiming to create jobs in private sector for youth. But the TJAC without noticing the government’s efforts, was provoking the youth, Ravinder Rao criticised.

TRSV secretary general K Vasudeva Reddy told Kodandaram to stop playing the role of opposition. The JAC chairman though does not have a following among the people was trying depict himself as a big force.

TRS leaders G Padma, Jannu Jacharaiah, G Ravi Kumar, H Rama Devi and others noted that in the name of JAC, some were trying to create law and order problem in the State. Kodandaram instead of creating trouble should come up with constructive suggestions to the government, they added.
