Following the orders by Telangana State Chief Secretary during a video-conference held on February 22, District Collector Dr A Sharath on Friday directed the officials to conduct survey about the handloom machinery available in the district.

He chaired a meeting at his chamber here with Joint Collector and Sub-Collector. He ordered M Venkateswarlu, the Additional Director of Handloom and Jute Department, to order the officials to conduct a survey on the handloom machinery available in the district.
He told them to form a team with Mandal Deputy Tahsildar, Revenue Inspector and Village Revenue Officer to conduct the survey perfectly and asked them to submit the report by March 2.
