Attending as a chief guest to a programme organised here at Late Umesh Chandra Conference Hall in Karimnagar on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Commissioner said police department was giving priority to women.

“Special categories are there in Hawk Eye applications for the sake of women. By utilising the Hawk Eye services, women can lodge complaints without coming to police stations,” said the CP.

He also said women officials part of She Teams were discharging their duties perfectly. By collecting the information secretly, She Teams were able to nab as many as 81 members found misbehaving with women at various locations in the city, he said.

“All necessary arrangements will be made by modernising the Women Police Station,” assured the Commissioner.

Later, Reddy along with Additional Commissioner of Police T Annapurna cut a cake on the occasion and handed over the appreciation certificates to the women police officials who excelled in duties.

CSB ACP C Prabhakar, Inspector of Women Police Station B Srinivas Reddy, Women sub-inspectors Sri Latha, Bhagya Lakshmi and other police officials were present.
