Take steps to prevent water scarcity: Peddapalli Collector
Take necessary steps to prevent water scarcity in all villages keeping in view of severe heat conditions in the ensuing summer season,’ District Collector Dr V S Alagu Varshini directed the officials.
Peddapalli: ‘Take necessary steps to prevent water scarcity in all villages keeping in view of severe heat conditions in the ensuing summer season,’ District Collector Dr V S Alagu Varshini directed the officials.
She chaired a meeting with the officials of Rural Water Supply and District Panchayat Raj departments at the Collectorate conference hall in Peddapalli on Friday.
Speaking at the meeting, she ordered the officials to make arrangements before hand to prevent drinking water problems in the villages in peak summer.
The officials were also told to prepare perfect report after observing previous records and water sources available in the villages and by studying the villages thoroughly which have apparent water scarcity problem, to take necessary steps.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Sudharshan was present along with other officials in the meeting.
