Karimnagar: The Blue Colts teams will intensify patrolling to prevent alcohol consumption in open places. Commissioner of Police V B Kamalasan Reddy, along with a team of 150 police personnel, conducted cordon and search operation at Giddeperumandla Temple near Bhavani Nagar in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

The Commissioner suggested the locals to bring to their notice immediately if any untoward incidents took place in their surroundings.

Informing that the police department would organise sports and games competitions to create friendly atmosphere with all sections of people, he urged them to participate in the competitions.

He also advised them to form committees in the colonies and install CCTV cameras to use Hawk Eye services, without coming to the police station.

Later, the Commissioner inspected a food factory, where the food products were being prepared without quality and warned them of serious punishments.

The police siege 200 bags of PDS rice in a rice mill, which was suspected to be mixed with other rice varieties and 21 two wheelers, six autos and a car, which do not have proper documents.

Assistant Commissioner of Police J Rama Rao, Inspectors Tula Srinivas Rao, Mahesh Goud, Vijay Kumar, Venkataramana and 150 police personnel were participated in the cordon and search operation.
