State Electoral Observer (SEO) Shashank Goel has directed the district collectors of Warangal Urban and Rural districts to complete digital revision of voters by July 31.
Hanamkonda: State Electoral Observer (SEO) Shashank Goel has directed the district collectors of Warangal Urban and Rural districts to complete digital revision of voters by July 31.
He chaired a meeting to review the ongoing intensive revision of electoral rolls-2017 at the urban district collectorate in Hanamkonda on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he told officials to register the voters using GPRS and create a satellite mapping.
Village-wise map of geographical area of each polling station has to be prepared so as to avoid duplication of voter enrollment. All efforts should be made to ensure a thorough revision of electoral rolls, Goel suggested.
Warangal Rural District Collector Prashanth J Patil and Warangal Urban District Collector Amrapali Kata presented the details of the ongoing electoral rolls revision in their respective districts. Municipal Commissioner Shruti Ojha and others were present.
