Housing for police on the anvil
State Police Housing Corporation Chairman Koleti Damodar planted saplings on the premises of the police station here on Monday as part of Harita Haram programme.
Sultanabad: State Police Housing Corporation Chairman Koleti Damodar planted saplings on the premises of the police station here on Monday as part of Harita Haram programme.
Later addressing a meeting organised in this connection, Damodar said that the police should strive hard to reduce the crime rate to make Telangana as number one State in the country. He complimented the Telangana police for achieving good name in the country.
He recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been extending all facilities to the police and said the housing scheme for the police is also on the anvil.
Ramagundam Police Commissioner Vikram Jeet Duggal, DCP Vijender Reddy, ACP Sindhu Sharma, SI B Raju and other police personnel were present along with the youth association leaders and the village sarpanch Antati Annaiah Goud.
