Kothagudem: People have to make use of government welfare schemes, said Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao here on Monday. He inaugurated the newly-constructed Panchayat building that came up at a cost of Rs 16. 85 lakh in Sujatha Nagar village.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister asked the people to utilise government schemes like NREGS and others. “The government is planning to develop villages and will release more funds soon,” he informed.
Later, he planted saplings in the village as part of the ongoing Haritha Haram. Kothagudem MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao, DRDA Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy and other district officials were present.
