The 20th International Children’s Festival had been started on a grand note with the screening of ‘Shanu’ feature film at 10 am at Thirumala theatre in Karimnagar. After launching the Film Festival District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed informed that several children’s films will be screened at Thirumala theatre three shows per day free to children. The films will be screened from November 8 to 14.

After launching the Film Festival District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed informed that several children’s films will be screened at Thirumala theatre three shows per day free to children. The films will be screened from November 8 to 14.

The Telangana State Film Development Corporation made elaborate arrangements to make the programme a grand success by selecting various theatres across the State to screen several children’s films freely.The Collector informed that orders were issued to the District Educational Officer to take necessary steps for sending as many as 750 children for each show. The students of various educational institutions must utilise the opportunity by watching the films as per the scheduled released, advised the Collector.

In Jagtial: By watching message-oriented movies, the children will become more sharp that can help them in boosting their intelligence quotient, observed District Educational Officer Venkateshwarlu here on Wednesday.The DEO inaugurated the 20th International Children’s Film Festival here at Nataraj Theatre in Jagtial on Wednesday.

DEO Venkateshwarlu said that children will be inspired by watching of adventurous and message oriented movies which will enable them to keep perfect goal in their life to reach to higher positions. District Public Relation Officer M A Gouse, Mandal Education Officer M Narayana were present along with the students of various educational institutions.
