Warangal rural district youth festival on Dec 7
The district-level Youth Festival of Warangal Rural district is scheduled to be held on December 7, informed Joint0Collector M Haritha. She along with other officials has released a publicity poster of the event in Hanamkonda on Wednesday. The Youth Festival, to be organised by youth welfare and sports department, will be held at Pothana Vignana Peetham in Warangal from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hanamkonda: The district-level Youth Festival of Warangal Rural district is scheduled to be held on December 7, informed Joint0Collector M Haritha. She along with other officials has released a publicity poster of the event in Hanamkonda on Wednesday. The Youth Festival, to be organised by youth welfare and sports department, will be held at Pothana Vignana Peetham in Warangal from 9 am to 5 pm.
Competitions will be conducted in 18 events, which include folk songs and dance, classical dance and music. Those who win at the district-level event will be selected for the State-level Youth Festival. Interested youth between 15 to 29 years age can submit their entries at the office youth welfare and sports department at industrial estate, Mulug road in Warangal by December 6, informed the Joint-Collector Haritha.
District revenue officer Hari Singh, district forest officer K Purushotham, DPRO M Kiranmayee, youth welfare and sports department superintendent Syed Ahmed are present.
