Complete land data updation by Monday

The Collector paid sudden visits to Telukunta village of Jupallimandal and Lalapalli village of Aligedumandal to inspect the land reforming works hereon Friday. After observing records,thein-charge Collector gave certain suggestions to the officials to speed up the works.

Expressing unhappiness with the land reforming works going on, the District in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy said that the land reforming works in the district are not being completed as per the expectations and asked the officialsto complete them within the prescribed time limit to get good name to the district.

He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar was unhappy with the district’s revenue department as the land reformation works were not going on at the expected level in the district. He suggested the officialsput extra efforts by working in holidays to complete the works as early as possible to remove the bad remark.

“Take all necessary measures as per‘MaaPahani’ available for correcting the details from village level to enter them perfectly in the records. Make corrections by collecting the details of government and assigned lands as per the guidelines,” informed the in-charge Collector.

After completing the manual work, he asked the officials to submit the report by Monday. Also, the in-charge Collector Prabhakar Reddy warned of stringent actionagainst those officials who behave negligently in discharging their duties and who will not complete submit the report by Monday. Aligedutahsildar Suresh, Julapalli deputy tahsildar Srikanth and the Village Revenue Officers were present.
