The District President of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Kotha Seetharamulu on Sunday appealed to the union representatives to strengthen the INTUC in all mandals across the district to fight for the rights of the workers along with solving the problems they are facing with.

Khammam: The District President of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Kotha Seetharamulu on Sunday appealed to the union representatives to strengthen the INTUC in all mandals across the district to fight for the rights of the workers along with solving the problems they are facing with.

The General Body meeting held on the occasion of newly elected presidents and secretaries of all mandals of INTUC here at Sanjeev Reddy Bhavan in Khammam.

Speaking at the meeting K Seetharamulu said that to strengthen the INTUC in all the mandals, the elected representatives must join more number of workers in INTUC by creating awareness about various welfare schemes that are implemented to them along with solving the problems they are facing with.

The representatives of INTUC must motivate all the workers of various unions belong to granite, auto and building construction fields to join in INTUC to strengthen the organisation, he advised.

In the General Body meeting that was held at Kochi in Kerala a resolution had made for strengthening of INTUC across the nation along with placing the organisation on top position in membership verification programme, he informed.

“Participate in large number in the dharna that will be held on January 17 under All India Workers Union Federation (JAC) to make it a grand success,” he appealed.

The INTUC leaders Pammi Venkateswarlu, T Saraiah, T Lakshmi Narasamma, Challa Venkateshwarlu, Hanumanthu, Md Yakub Pasha, Ramani and Sathyam were present along with others.
