Warangal: It was a sea of humanity at the historic Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Inavolu village. The annual fair, which got off to a traditional start on Saturday, witnessed a huge rush on Tuesday, which also happens to be Kanuma festival, with the devotees thronging the temple to pay their offerings to the Lord.

It may be noted here that Inavolu jatara that begins during Sankranti, continues till Ugadi festival. During this period, the temple is never closed even in nights. As a tradition, devotees travelling on bullock-carts offer ‘new’ rice to the Lord.
