Karimnagar: Martial arts training builds self-confidence but it needs a lot of hard work, the Commissioner of Police VB Kamalasan Reddy said, addressing the sixth batch of police personnel, who underwent a rigorous training in Krav Maga, a self-defence system developed by the Israeli army.

So far, 148 police personnel, including six home guards, of the Commissionerate have been trained in Krav Maga, Reddy said. The trained personnel exhibited their skills in Krav Maga on the occasion. The Commissioner gave away certificate of appreciation and rewards to those excelled in the training. Additional DCPs Srinivas (administration) and P Sanjeev Kumar (law and order) were among others present.
