Karimnagar: The representatives of the Aarvee Associates, the Smart City Project consultants, have on Wednesday made a power point presentation about the components to be undertaken in the first phase of Smart City Mission, a Central Government initiative aimed at urban renewal and retrofitting with a mission to develop 100 cities all over the country making them citizen friendly and sustainable, at a review meeting conducted by the District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad here.
The Aarvee Associates President Prasad detailed about the design of underground drainage, cable network, solar route map, smart roads, multi-level parking, green belt, retrofitting, 24x7 water supply, command control system etc.
He said that the design they prepared will be discussed at length with the experts of various wings to make them fool-proof. After reassessment of the plan, they would prefer the tenders process to begin, he added.
Sarfaraz Ahmad and Municipal Commissioner K Shashanka told the Aarvee Associates to complete the groundwork before March so that the developmental works will be taken up.
