Atal Bihari Vajpayee remembered by Hanamkonda BJP leaders

Hanamkonda: Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Parshottam Khodabhai Rupala described former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a statesman and one of the greatest leaders India has ever produced. 

Speaking at the Sarvajanik Samsmaran Sabha (condolence meeting) presided over by the National Institute of Technology Director N V Ramana Rao here on Friday, he said that Vajpayee ruled people's hearts.


“The country has lost a great patriot, parliamentarian and statesman,” he said, paying tribute to former Prime Minister who died on August 16. Cutting across political parties, leaders who attended the meeting paid rich tribute to the departed soul.

Senior BJP leaders Chandupatla Janga Reddy, M Dharma Rao, Mandadi Satyanarayana, Padma Amarender Reddy, Vannala Sriramulu, Rakesh Reddy and D Kumara Swamy of Warangal Chamber of Commerce were among others present.
