Boxing and football bask in the limelight
The penultimate day at SFA saw a good mix of outdoor and indoor sports, with Throwball and Football dominating outdoor, while Table Tennis and Boxing stole the show, indoors.

Fencing was another combat sport which was introduced today at the Championship, which saw bouts in the U-12 category. A total of 150 students participated in Boxing, which had nine National level, 10 State level boxers.
The final for Boxing U-13 was a nail-biting one with opponents from Springfield’s School and St. Anthony’s School exchanging blows and punches. Suraiya from the former school won 30-29-29 against 25-28-28 in an intense bout. In another interesting fight in the U-15 category, Syeda from Springfield’s won 30-30-30 against Vaishnavi from St. Anthony’s School who scored 25-24-27.
Table Tennis saw an interesting game which saw over 350 participants. Football also had a stellar contingent at SFA with 26 National and 25 State level players.
