Debut author makes a splash
Author Sonika Shandilya is doing rounds not only in city but all over India with her novel “Tinkling of the Bell Before It Rings”. Her book launched four months ago was selected in the genre of Indian writing by the prestigious Amazon Best Reads-December 2017. It is doing well at the Hyderabad Book Fair-2018.

Sonika holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Punjabi University and is into creative writing.Speaking to the Hans India Sonika said, “I started writing the novel on 11/11/11 and on that day, I visited GVK one and saw a long queue for movie tickets which lead me began writing a novel. It took two half years to complete the novel.
It is a love story with nature by two characters Jai and Sakshi and are from Hyderabad, the novel depicts three different stories which is Love for India through love story, Indian value system and a hostel life. It is for the first time that there are four Hindi songs in an English book”.
