Journalists should stand for neglected people and strive for achieving their rights, said chief speaker, former MLC and Professor K Nageshwar, while addressing the topic

Hyderabad: Journalists should stand for neglected people and strive for achieving their rights, said chief speaker, former MLC and Professor K Nageshwar, while addressing the topic ‘Changing News and Trends’, on the occasion of noted journalist Narla Venkateswar Rao’s 22nd death anniversary conducted here at BRAOU on Friday.

He expressed serious concern over rising yellow journalism rather than credibility. Nageshwar said it is not right to blame media organisations alone even people liking those kind of sensational news.
There is need of a sustained movement from news readers to get quality news.

University Vice-Chancellor, Professor K Sitharama Rao described it as a blessing to have Narla memorial library on the campus. He presided over the meeting. Registrar, Professor C Venkataiah and other staff were present.
